July 2026: I will be an invited speaker at the International Conference on Optimization on Machine Learning (ICOML 2026) at NTNU in Tapei.
February 2026: I will be giving a plenary talk at ANZIAM 2026 in Canberra. The 2026 SigmaOpt Workshop will be on the day immediately after ANZIAM 2026.

December 2025: I was named Australia's leading researcher for the field of Mathematical Optimisation in the 2026 edition of the Australian's Research Magazine.
May 2025: I will be at Banff International Research Station for the workshop on Strategies for Handling Applications With Nonconvexity (SHAWN).
February 2025: I am honoured to be the receipient of the 2025 JH Michel Medal from ANZIAM, and the 2025 Peter Schwerdtfeger Award from the Australian Association of von Humboldt Fellows.
February 2025: I will be at the MATRIX Workshop on Splitting Algorithms - Advances, Challenges, and Opportunities in Creswick. The workshop is organised by Scott Lindstrom, Walaa Moursi and me.
